ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEMS FOR THE EFFICIENT COOLING OF DATA CENTERS USING ABSORPTION CHILLERS AND RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES

Rezumat: Studiul dezvolta modelul analitic a unui sistem de recuperare al energiei pentru racirea unui centru de date folosind resurse de energie regenerabile. Sistemul de racire consta intr-un racitor cu absorbtie, actionat de energia termica recuperata din componentele Centrului de Date si aditional din energia solara acumulata extra. Aceasta lucrare include informatii generale despre centrele de date si o descriere detaliata a sistemului de recuperare de energeie propus.

Abstract: The study develops the analytical model of an energy recovery system for the cooling of a data center using renewable energy resources. The cooling system consists of an absorption chiller, driven by the thermal energy recovered from the Data Center components and additional extra solar energy. The paper includes general information on data centers and a detailed description of the proposed energy recovery system.
