Abstract: This Work presents a new meihod of evaluation of the thermodynamic cycles performances- This evaluation method is based ou the new concept of "expower" in the place of the "exergy" crileria; that means the capability of a thermodynamic system to produce continuos mechanical power in real exo - irreversible functioning conditions instead of exergetic. reversible conditions. The "expower" couidbe a much realistic crileria to define the thenno-econonucs performances of an energetic system.
