OPTIMIZAREA PIERDERILOR DE PRESIUNE ALE COMPRESOARELOR PE BAZA METODEI TERMODINAMICII IN TIMP FINIT

Abstract: There are three principal direction of development of the researches in the finite time thermodynamics field. Optimization models appiied to the systems with the fimctioning based on the direct thermodynamic cycles represent the first. These models use finite temperature differences as optimizable variables and indicate the difference between the maximum power generaiion (optimum entropy generation) and the maximum economy fimctioning (with minimum entropy generation). The second direction includes optimization methods appiied both on the systems with direct and inverse thennodynamic cycles with a superposition of the maximum power generation and minimum entropy generation. At last, the third direction has as object of study the optimization of the pressure losses in the thermo-machines (internai combuslion motor, turbines, and compressors). In this direction, our paper presents an original model of optimization appiied to the compressors. With an imposed rate flow, it is possible '.o optimize the design of the suction and discharge line (that influence directiv the values of the gasdynamic pressure losses) in order to obtain maximum performances.
